What this policy covers

This policy explains what Nathan Coleman Books ("we", "us") collects when you browse nathancolemanbooks.com, buy an ebook or workbook, download the free Start Here PDF, or write to us. In short: we collect only what is needed to deliver your purchase and answer your messages — and nothing is sold, shared, or used for marketing.

What we collect

At checkout: your name and email address. This is how your receipt is sent and how you can get your files again later. Checkout is completed on Stripe's site, so your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through or rest on this website. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a minimal record of your order — what you bought, when, the Stripe payment reference, your immediate-download agreement, and dated records of which paid files our site delivered — so your downloads can be verified and delivery problems investigated.

The contact form: your name, email address, and message, so we can reply. Messages are kept privately and are not added to any list.

The free Start Here PDF: nothing is required. No email, no account. A simple anonymous count of how many times the file is downloaded helps us keep it available; this count is not tied to any person.

How download links and email work

Right after checkout your download buttons appear on the site, and we email you a receipt with a link to your books. The paid files live in private storage and are never served as public URLs: every download click is verified against your purchase, then a fresh, short-lived link is created for that download. The emailed link to your downloads page stays valid for at least 30 days. If it expires, the "Resend my download link" form on the FAQ page will send a new one to the email you bought with — no password or account needed.

We only send email you've asked for in practice: your purchase receipt, a download link when you request one again, and (if you write to us) our reply. There is no newsletter, no promotional email, and no mailing list to unsubscribe from, because none exists. Our email replies go to hello@nathancolemanbooks.com.

No advertising or marketing tracking

This site runs no advertising, no marketing trackers, and no marketing cookies. We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles. The one exception you may notice is Stripe's own cookies on their checkout page, which exist because Stripe needs them to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as page requests and error reports) to keep the site running securely, and the site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These aren't used to identify you or build a profile. We use no cookies of our own beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver your purchase.

Where data lives and who sees it

Orders and messages are stored privately with our website platform's hosting and database provider. Stripe processes payments and handles its own customer data under its own privacy policy, which you can read at checkout. Email is delivered through our managed email service. We don't give your information to anyone else, and we don't use it for anything other than delivering your books and answering you.

Retention and your choices

We keep order records long enough to support your download access (at least 30 days after purchase) and keep contact messages only as long as needed to answer them. You can ask at any time to have your contact messages deleted, or to have the email address on an order removed once your download period has ended. Just email hello@nathancolemanbooks.com.
