About

A Note From the Author

I didn't write this series as an expert looking in from the outside. I wrote it because of my wife.

I watched her carry more than anyone should, for longer than anyone should, mostly in silence. From the outside, she seemed to be handling everything. Inside, the pressure kept building until it became a mental health crisis that nearly took her life.

I've often wondered whether things might have gone differently if she'd had words for what she was feeling sooner. If someone had told her that tension, exhaustion, and irritability can be signs of something deeper. If she'd known she didn't have to hold it all alone. Maybe. I'll never know for sure.

What I do know is that I don't want anyone else to wait that long to find those words. That's why these books exist.

If something here speaks to you, I hope it guides you toward better tools, better support, and people who can help you carry what you've been carrying. And if you're struggling right now, please don't wait. Reach out to someone you trust, a professional, or a crisis line. In the US, you can call or text 988 any time. You deserve support long before anything reaches a breaking point.

With gratitude,
Nathan Coleman
